1. Sometimes

From the recording My Inner Dawg

The final weird song on this album."Weird" in that it was written with absolutely no attempt to be commercial. Just writing down what I was thinking and feeling. Walked out of the door of my apartment on Music Row on a nice spring Sunday morning (in about 2004/5). The Row was deserted that time of day, that day of the week. Just me and a woodpecker. He was beating his brains out on a telephone pole and it seemed an apt metaphor for a newbie songwriter in Nashville.
